About Me

Hey there!

My name is Jacqueline Remus.  I’m a digital executive & entrepreneur in Los Angeles’ booming Silicon Beach. I have a passion for creating websites, apps and software that delight customers and help companies grow.

My ideal roles are ones that strike a balance between strategic leadership, mentoring teams and hands-on product design work.

I’m skilled in product, design, strategy, user experience (UI/UX), research and information architecture.  My design skills include wired, mobile and App (iOS and Android) design, design thinking, responsive design, and user-centered design. I’m skilled in Photoshop and a variety of prototyping tools.

My product experience spans industries, from eCommerce to entertainment to automotive, and includes creating product strategies and roadmaps, owning P&L, managing customer LTV, writing specs and leading cross-functional teams.  I’m an expert in conversion optimization and A/B testing.

My research skills include usability testing, ethnography, personas, surveys, and both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

It has been my pleasure to work with companies in virtually stage of development, from tiny start-ups to Fortune 500s. My bigger clients and companies have included industry leaders such as Accenture, Allstate Insurance, BankOne, Edmunds.com, House of Blues, and Live Nation. Start-ups I’ve worked with include BizRate, Shopzilla, Petite Seats and Lionheart Fitness for Kids.

When I’m not working, I love to snowboard, hike and surf.  In a previous life, I was a snowboarding instructor at Wilmot Mountain, the tiniest mountain you’ve ever seen. I was blessed to spend two seasons helping little kids fall in love with my favorite sport. I’m a member of the Modern Quilt Guild, and I love cooking and traveling.

I’m also passionate about helping kids and families, and I volunteer at schools and with Big Sunday. I’m very interested in joining the board of a non-profit that helps kids and families.

Drop me a line and let’s discuss how I can help you!
